Cosmetics Fair Summer Round has already started and you ladies who went nuts for Glam Affair’s Cleo are going to be sooooo happy!

Aida Ewing has released twenty, yes you read that right TWENTY lipsticks for the fair and omg I am in cute lip heaven! Being able to change lip colours on skins is one of the favourite things about tattoo layers so I am so very happy about these.

They come in all the normal skin tones that Glam Affair skins come in (but no petal versions) and they I checked ‘cos I know some of you will want to know and yes, they work with Margot and Summer too so I figure they will probably work fine with all the Glam Affair skins..yay!

Cosmetics Fair runs from 15th – 30th June so you have plenty of time to run over and grab some goodies!

A new round of L’accessoires started yesterday and I just had to share these awesome hats that are included this round from Miamai.

Pretty awesome huh? They are unisex and come in two versions, one with hair and one without and are HUD controlled for colour changeable bits. They are also available in lots of eye catching colours so you need to go check them out.

As I was going for the whole “I’m fancy” look I decided to go with this classic dress from E! Eclectic Apparel because it’s simple but elegant and I love the wraparound look. I teamed it up which this cute little fur collar from COCO which I have been dying for an excuse to wear for about 6 months now! My sexy little peep-toe heels from Gos Boutique added a little bit of va va voom to my outfit and I couldn’t resist some huge statement earrings from Glow Studio.

And that’s about it. I am wearing this amazing ring from Paper Couture but as usual, I suck and you can’t see it but trust me, you need to go check out the jewellery from there because it’s all to die for.

I mentioned Summerfest ’13 in my last blog post and today it opened and omg it’s so full of cute! I suggest maybe waiting a few days though, unless you have the mother of all computers, because the lag is pretty bad and the build and sim is so cute you will be sad if you miss it and all you can see is a mass of grey blobs.

Tee*fy has some gorgeous items out and I grabbed a few of these fringed tops while I was there. They come in several different patterns and in each pack you get a fringed version, non fringed, with strap and without straps so you are really getting your lindens worth. I decided to throw on this skirt from Tram which has been one of my very favourites since it was released months ago. It’s floaty and pretty and perfect for summer.

I’m a sucker for hair flowers and BOOM has some out at Summerfest which you absolutely need. They are flower Tiara’s and they also come with a single flower for left and right sides which is great for us lazy people who can’t be bothered to copy and edit for the other side.

As I have been reluctant to take my Slink mesh feet off since I got them I’ve been using shoes that are compatible with them and, of course, one of the places with the most options right now is Slink. These strappy sandles are great, fit perfectly over my feet and come in loads of colours.

Finally my hair is from Alice Project which is currently having a MASSIVE 50% off sale on pretty much all her mesh hair. She’s also introduced a new Create Your Own pack which means, well basically you can create your own colour pack! The sale runs from 13th to 27th June so don’t forget to go grab some sale goodies!

Before you all start yelling at me, yes, I know the title is wrong…I changed it for my own purposes and I’m not even sorry! Now that’s out the way, look, ooooo pretty skin!

This is the latest release from Glam Affair and it’s out for Summerfest ’13 which opens on 15th. It’s pretty awesome huh? Be sure to view the picture large because it has adorable freckles and I know how some of you ladies go nuts for freckles! It comes in two different skin tones, America (pictured) and Jamaica, five different make ups and they all come with blonde, brown, red and black brows. I have been into matte lips lately so the lips on this just make me drool, and the make ups are mostly subtle so they will be great for everyday wear.

Summerfest ’13 runs from 15th – 29th June and there are some amazing designers taking part so be sure to check it out when it opens.

It’s Meme Monday everyone! I love Meme Monday and today Berry has an awesome challenge for us although my blog title sort of gives it away so I can’t be all TA DA about it.

When I saw the challenge for today I spent ages trying to think of a movie that sort of related to me. I thought of Pretty In Pink (obviously) and then I went all fantasy cos of the elf thing and thought of Legend and Labyrinth but then I have to admit, I decided on this one because I thought of the perfect hair for it…(yes I know this is a terrible reason and you can judge me all you want!)

My poster is based on Les Misérables  and I have to admit, I think it turned out pretty well. Sort of. I didn’t get the lighting right but hey, most of my pictures are more luck than judgement so I can live with it.

I have been having the most nostalgic weekend ever because Collabor88 has gone all 90′s this round and has resulted in everything I see in there making me go “OMG I HAD ONE” “OMG I REMEMBER THESE” “OMG, OMG!” and so on…

These inflatable chairs from PILOT had me squeeing like an idiot because I had a pink one just like this! It was my prized possession for about 2 weeks until I realised they hurt like hell when you stuck to them in the sun on bare legs but for those two weeks I would have killed anyone who tried to get between me and my inflatable chair! The peace sign light is from floorplan and is texture change and adorable and the tv/vhs combo is from Vestpertine and totally awesome. It also comes in a range of so-bright-i-cant-even-stand-it-but-i-love-it colours and a make your own VHS kit so you can make tapes to go with it.

The shoes I am wearing are from Ingenue and desgined to go with the Slink mesh feet. Be aware they are made to fit with the medium feet that look like they are on tip toe and not the flat feet. If you don’t have those though they are definitely worth considering because there are some amazing shoes being released that are compatible with these so you will get use out of them. The top I have on is from {u.f.o} and it’s off the shoulder, frilly gorgeousness but another thing to beware, they are NOT standard sizing so DEMO BEFORE YOU BUY! I am a SS small exactly and I had to change a couple sliders to get this to fit but Luna Jubilee’s Mesh Fitting Tutorial helped me figure out which ones I needed to change and it fits pretty well now.

When Strawberry Singh revealed her meme this week I think there were a number of people who groaned ‘cos it’s another one that required us to do some actual work. She is such a slave driver!

After many hours of trying to come up with an acrostic poem of my SL name (Magenta) and the name everyone calls me (Skittles) I lost it on Plurk and whined like a small child about sucking at poetry…and then Vaki to the rescue! I take absolutely no credit at all in any way,  shape or form for this poem ‘cos mine sucked so hard. Vaki, however is obviously hiding some serious poetry skills under than cute exterior of hers ‘cos she whipped this up in about 45 seconds!

Somewhere over the rainbow
Killing fields of unicorns
It’s their way to sparkle when ready
To rampage through the shimmering morn
They giggle as they plot and scheme
Leaving trails of glittering poop
Eating diamonds sharpens shining teeth
So run, child! Here comes the Unicorn Troop!

I should possibly explain a little about this poem. I have a tendency to spam peoples offlines when they aren’t around and I’m in the mood with “Offline Skittles Luvvin’”. This is basically me sending them IM’s with stupid facts about unicorns or something else equally daft. One day I sent Vaki one with this fact in,

Unicorns sparkle when they are poised to kill, don’t misread that.

She loved this fact (which is absolutely true by the way) waaay more than I thought she would and it’s now become a bit of a thing. Hence the poem.

Ever since I saw these adorable floaties from Miamai for The Arcade I had this picture in mind so I was so excited to get to do it today and with some of the most awesome ladies (and Mangenta) I know!

The floaties are part of the gacha event for this round which started 1st June and there are no words for the sheer cuteness in pixels! There are lots of different sizes as you can see and they come in bear, panda, kitty and unicorn (these are the rares). There are different colours in each and just trust me, you won’t be disappointed with whatever you get.
